This Parador is housed in a 16th Century Convent which rises up in the town of Trujillo, birthplace of discoverers, in the former Santa Clara monastery, conserving the atmosphere of peace and quiet offered by its conventual structure. The Parador is located in the town centre, in the former Santa Clara convent. Trujillo is 48 km from Cáceres along the N-521 main road, 90 km from Mérida along the Autovía de Extremadura dual carriageway and 250 km from Madrid by the same road.
