History:
Great 10th Century Castle located in the middle on the plan of the Ebro River, and backed by the Beceite Mountains. The Parador rises up in the upper part of Tortosa, with views over the city. Abderramán III decided to build this fortification, which now houses La Zuda (the well), next to four splendied large Catalan Gothic windows. In the interior predominates the Christian and regal characters with classical style furniture and wooden beams.
