The four star Parador de Ceuta is a modern building which backs on to the ancient Royal Walls in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de África in the centre of Ceuta. It has magnificent panoramic views of the sea, the historical centre of the city and the coast of the Spain. It was an impregnable fortress for centuries, with the vaults of the former Artillery Stores constructed in the city walls and now used as suites. While in Ceuta you can visit the Grand Bazaar which has a huge number of shops, the Cathedral, Shrine of Nuestra Senora de Africa, Trench of San Felipe and the Royal Walls.
The Parador de Ceuta has 67 twin, 4 double and 6 single rooms plus 29 suites. All of the guestrooms have a private bathroom, a telephone, satellite television TV canal plus and a mini bar. Most of them overlook a garden filled with palm trees, with a well cared-for swimming pool and exceptional views of the sea.
The interior has predominantly Arabic décor with modern furniture. The restaurant is full of beautiful plants and serves a combination of traditional Andalusian and Arabic dishes using fish which has been caught locally.
The Grand Bazaar in Ceuta has a huge number of shops. Other attractions include the cathedral, Shrine of Neustra Senora de Africa, the Trench of San Felipe and the Royal Walls. Feasts and celebrations that are offered all year round with carnivals in February, Easter in March/April, the "Cruces" in May, and the Corpus Christi which is the only day when the very old Royal Standard, embroidered by a Portuguese Queen is on display.
There is also the Sailors’ Pilgrimage of Virgen del Carmen on June 16th, and feasts on August 5th which include the procession of the Virgin of Africa with a carving donated to the city by the King Henry of Portugal Henry in 1420.

How to get there:
The Parador is located in the nerve centre of the city, in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de África. This monumental space has the Santísima Cathedral Church to the right, the Municipal Palace opposite, and the Nuestra Señora de África sanctuary and the Commander's Headquarters to the left.
