It was formerly the Casa del Corregidor and offers an impressive view of the surrounding fertile plain and old part of Arcos de la Frontera. This parador provides an ideal starting point to begin exploring the wine and white village routes, especially Jerez de la Frontera with its fighting bull ranches.
It is well worth visiting the Santa Maria and San Pedro Churches, Castle, Palaces and Art Gallery in Arcos de la Frontera. The Horse Fair in Jerez de la Frontera is a 30 minute drive away from the parador, and the Sierras de Grazalema natural Park and Arcos Lake are excellent areas for hiking and horse riding.
