Antequera has a rich historical heritage and was used by the Catholic King Fernando as the base for his operations during the Granada campaigns. The Arab Castle, Arco de los Gigantes (Arch of Giants), Church of Santa Maria Mayor and Archidona are well worth a visit. . The surrounding "El Torcal" has some very unusual and interesting geological formations.

How to get there:
The Parador is located on the Paseo Garcia del Olmo, in Antequera, just a few minutes away from the city centre of Antequera. It takes 45 minutes to get there from Málaga, an hour from Granada and an hour and a half from Seville or Córdoba.
